Well hello......

Okay, so I finally decided to get this blog thing going. I have no idea what I'm doing, not being very computer savvy and all, so bear with me for a while. For those of you who I haven't been so good at keeping in touch with, let me introduce the family. Of course you know me, Kerry, age - older than I'd like to be, still 5 feet tall, and yes - still fiesty. Many of you know my husband by the name Tran, but we all call him Mun. Ask him to explain it someday, it's a good long story. Anyway, Mun is younger than he looks, but really old. ha ha ha He works in HR for an engineering firm in Sandy - long commute. We have three beautiful children, Taylor, Kayla, and Jax. We'll introduce them in a minute. We live in Clearfield, Utah and love our neighborhood. There are a lot of young couples here, so needless to say the ward is pretty young. It's a lot of fun, lots of friends around for us and the kids, so it works great. I still work from home doing medical transcription and legal stuff, same old stuff. We keep busy with the kids and work and church, so life is always crazy, but a lot of fun. I'll try to update this every month, but no promises. Sometimes I don't even have time sleep, so that comes first. Anyway, thanks for stopping by and leave your contact info. It's nice to say hi again to people we rarely get to see anymore. Bye.

The Race

We finally did it!! It feels like we have been training for this marathon for an eternity! It was so much fun that I had a smile on my face most of the way. We stayed overnight on Friday so we could get up early Saturday morning to run the Logan Marathon. What a blast it was! I have such a great running partner, I couldn't have done it without Katie. She made it fun to run and kept me going when I wanted to quit. The boys came out for support and made sure they got in some pictures for proof. I am so blessed to have a hubby who supports my 4:30 am runs and only calls me crazy once in a while! I can't wait for the next marathon, though I am not ready to get back into the swing of things yet. I decided my body and schedule needed a break for a few weeks, so back to work next week!! If anyone ever said they wanted to run a marathon but didn't think they could do it, yes you can - I am proof of that!

Taylor

Taylor
It's hard to believe Taylor is almost 8 years old! It seems like the years are flying by so much faster these days. Taylor is in 2nd grade now, and loving it. He is an exceptional student and likes to learn. He plays a lot of sports and has fun with his friends. He likes soccer, baseball, basketball, and swimming. Football is starting soon, we're not sure how he'll like this one! He plays the piano, though he needs a new teacher this year. He wants to play the guitar, but piano is first - Mom rule. He is a fun kid with an imagination that is truly amazing to me. He has a big heart and loves to play with his little brother. He likes his sister, but after all, she's a girl and who wants to play with a girl! Oh, well, one day they'll get it - right?

Kayla

Kayla
What can I say about Kayla - wow! What an amazing girl. To think we were told she'd never live a day on this Earth - she's a little miracle. She is the sweetest girl I have ever met - and yes, I am biased. She is easy going and fun and has lots of friends. She is starting the 1st grade now and loves it. She is an artistic thinker and loves to just play. She took tumbling for a while and will start back up again soon. We took a break for the summer. She likes piano and is going to start lessons soon. She loves to read and use her imagination. She also loves to play with her baby brother and follow her older brother around. She is a blessing in our lives.

Jaxson

Jaxson
I guess it's true what they say about the third child - they are a handful! Jax is so much fun it's hard to put him to bed. He loves to make us laugh and does anything he can to keep the laughter coming. We call him the budda because he is soo big - for our family anyway! He loves to read and would watch cartoons all day if you let him. He is a bit of a brute, he can take Taylor and Kayla on with no problems! He misses them while they are at school, he wanders around the house calling their names. He loves to wrestle with whoever will play with him and always wins! He is soo sweet. He is learning all kinds of fun words and we laugh until we cry sometimes at what he says. What an amazing little man!
